how do i go about finding record of a person who was buried in the Oak hill Cemetery in Lampasas, Tx. in an un marked grave?
I am look for the location of the graves of two of my relatives. Hy grandfather Roderick M. Cumby. He could be listed as Roger M. Cumby. He died April 16, 1934. He was buried in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas Tx. I also have an aunt buried in the same cemetery, her name was Ruby Cumby, she died May 8, 1934. her grave was also un marked. thank you for any help you can give me. Veda Beyer
you can check the local funeral homes that might have been around at that time and check the death records of the county courthouse. They should have the plot number and all. Sometimes funeral homes that service the cemetery or churches will have old records also. msclsmall@yahoo.com
